; n ;

I feel sad :c
All I want to do is just forget about everything and crawl into a hole and cry and sleep countless hours until I forget why I was crying in the first place.
I don't care anymore. Do whatever you want, but don't drag me along with you.
I shall become a hermit now, dig a hole in my backyard and stuck my face inside an old shoe, thank you very much.

Who stole the tarts?

Needless to say, I ADORE anything "Alice in Wonderland" related. I'm not talking about Disney's boring version of such a lovely, carefree book, nor Tim Burton's leave-a-blank-space-here-from-the-lack-of-a-proper-complain-adjective version of the before mentioned book. But, instead, I'm talking about the Original Alice in Wonderland, just like Herr Carroll pictured it.

Have I ever read a more carefree tale before? a more beautiful one? a more artistic one? A MORE CREATIVE ONE?

It would be hard to find a better exponent of "Portraying one person's mind into a piece of paper", am I right? Going through this book is like going through Herr Carrol's mind itself. His way with words is gorgeous and trully expressive. All of the charachters managed to become dear parts of my teen years as I encountered each and everyone of them. They all have their really well-defined personalities and oddities. Trying to picture each of these charachters is like a tasty feast for anybody's imagination.

The very tale itself is delicious, it's proportions are unmeasurable! There are even words Herr Carroll himself invented for this very tale! Adjectives were created to describe some It is like a rush of multi-colored-sparkly-fuzzy-trippy-crazy waves to your brain as pages pass by! The book practically reads itself for your ears' pleasure! And so, as one reads the book, beautiful illustrations will come across your eyes. DREADFULLY GORGEOUS illustrations, I must say!

Herr Caroll did a great choice asking Herr John Tenniel to illustrate this magnificent book. Tenniel's illustrations are such a beautiful and intricate artwork, the perfect complemment for such a delightful story, in my opinion. Each of these are made out of small lines creating various shapes and shadows and beautiful charachters along the way ; w ;
Text and images complemment each other perfectly, without one stealing anything from the other.

And so, as my love for this tale grew, and nourished my imagination, it was no surprise that when a mandatory College project provided with an excuse to demonstrate my love for this particular tale, I had to take the challenge as soon as I could, and show the world one of this book's precious illustrations! I chose the book's Chapter XI: "Who Stole the Tarts?" White Rabbit with Trumpet illustration and show my love for Alice in Wonderland once and for all ; u ;
-INSERT MANY HEARTS IN HERE-

XI. Who Stole The Tarts?
"The King and Queen of Hearts were seated on their throne when they arrived, with a great crowd assembled about them--- all sorts of little birds and beasts, as well as the whole pack of cards: the Knave was standing before them, in chains, with a soldier on each side to guard him; and near the King was the White Rabbit, with a trumpet in one hand, and a scroll of parchment in the other.

"Herald, read the accusation!" said the King.

On this the White Rabbit blew three blasts on the trumpet, an then unrolled the parchment-scroll, and read as follows:---

The Queen of Hearts, she made some tarts,
All on a summer day:
The Knave of Hearts, he stole those tarts
And took them quite away!
"

Technique: 48x35 canvas. I drew all of it. Using Paper Mate's Medium Marker (0.5mm) and uni-ball micro deluxe pen in black for small details.

This took about 4 days of good ol' torture to get done. This was a trully entertaining project at first, with the whole drawing being made out of small lines and intricate details. It ended up being a trully torturing project, with the whole drawing being made out of small lines and intricate details instead ; n ;
But I think it paid off well. It looked as if I had ripped the image from a gigantic Alice in Wonderland book. And so, my mission was succesfully completed!

Oh, yes, character concept by John Tenniel for Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland".

Dear Alejandro, sir........

You should be proud of yourself, for a cool looking video has recently been filmed in your name. Yes! Lady Gaga has finally released the highly expected video for her newest single, "Alejandro".
Now, anybody who heard the song before watching the video will agree with me on the whole "Spanish novel" flavor the music has. I mean, just listen to her fake sort of latin/spanish accent, the latin/spanish male names... the whole mentioning Mexico thing! I thought this video would be a sort of Latin Lover stravaganzza, full of fancy flamenco-like dance moves, Gaga dressed up as a femme fatale, having many latin lovers and leaving them all, or maybe even killing them (like in some of her previous videos) by the end of the so-called-video. BUT! what did we get? well, we got ermm... This:

MILITAR-S&M-STEAMPUNK-HELLRAISER-LEATHER STRAVAGANZZAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Can I say I fell in love with all of this? Forever? ; u ; First of all, the aesthetics and overall art chosen for this particular video were totally unexpected. Seriously, who would've thought "Alejandro" would be turned into a beautiful piece of macabre and obscure? I am totally up for this. The obscure aesthetic and scenarios. The slight s&m esscence the garments distill is beautiful. I trully enjoyed the slight Hellraiser reminiscence the very start of the video gives. The only thing Miss Gaga is missing is one of those intricate torture piercings most of the Cenobites wear as a part of their garments. I think this is, without a doubt, one of her best looks. Ever. Some may agree with me, some may disagree. Some may think I have totally lost my mind. But, I will say, I found her looks to be really sober and breath taking in this particular video. That delicate paper-white skin, white, snowy hair and vampy lipstick, in contrast with that black leather garment gives her such an impecable and impressive look.

Steampunk looks great on her, hmm?

Moving on, moving on. Next image, please!

Hmm, something isn't right with this... let's see... She's a sort of dark nun now... seems to be praying or something... That red nun outfit is pretty neat, actually; that whole image would make an excellent painting, in my opinion. She still looks impecable and gorgeous... WAIT! I remembered! What does ANY of that have to do with the overall video?! I thought she was a sort of steampunk something earlier... what happened, then?
This makes me think she just wanted to create some controversy. Honestly, this has nothing to do within the conext of the video. And that other white garment with the red crosses? More free controversy. Controversy out of NOTHING and just BECAUSE. That is ridiculous, in my opinion. If you want to create controversy, do it for something worth it, something you believe in, some message you want to transmit. Not just because! This has been done before, even. If you want to use a religious theme for your videos, art, or whatever, make sure to do a good job transmitting your message, feelings or thoughts. Don't do it just for free controversy!

The video later shows Miss Gaga doing this sort of dance-slightporn-something with her male dancers in fishnets and high heels. Now, I have nothing with males wearing high heels, or any other sort of "feminine" clothes. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with a role reversal. But, once again, that doesn't have much to do with the video. At least, I never though "Alejandro" was about Gaga making out with some gay, s&m nazi guys! Except, oh, yes! I bet parents all over the place must be now talking about your "wild and controversial" new video! Mission accomplished!

Long -worthless- post is long, hmm? I'm sorry, the intention of this post was, at first, just to praise the beautiful and slightly macabre aesthetic she had chosen for the video, and it ended up being more like an opinion on a life or death matter. Maybe next time, I should write about IMPORTANT, trascendental stuff, instead of a shamelessly attention-seeking video done for the sake of... attention!
I'm sorry. I don't normally dedicate long posts to music videos, and I will make sure not to do this very often, either ; n ;

Have a lovely day! Peet!

The Sea of Holes

Hello, Jeremy!

Jonh? Paul? George? Ringo...?
Where are you, gu
ys? Where have you gone?

Oh, don't tell me... did you fall into the Sea of Holes? What a mess!

I am a huge fan of The Beatles. I trully admire them for their beautiful songs and the feelings they manage to transmit.
And so, Guess what? I love the "Yellow Submarine" movie, as well!

I still remember when Father bought it and, that very night, we were all gathered together around our big, old TV ready for the show. Could I be any more excited? I was a little kid back then, and so, I was happy to watch this animated movie with the family. Father didn't stop talking about some beetles and their songs all day long before we played the movie. I was interested to see what those "beetles" would look like, and, secretly hoping they would be wearing well... a full beetle attire.

But then, the movie started and I couldn't believe my eyes. The animation was gorgeous, and all of the characters, as well as the scenarios were all trippy and crazy! Father said he still remember the first time he watched that movie, at his college's movie theatre, and how, as soon as the film started, everybody started smoking their weed, and soon, there was a thick smokey enviroment surrounding the theatre, and the movie got well... erm... trully trippy! I didn't know what "weed" was, and so I didn't pay much attention to that comment. Besides, I was focused on the first song already playing: "The Yellow Submarine".
It was as if candy had been melted and rainbows had been bottled up just for this very special ocassion! The rhymes were awesome and funny. Those Blue Meanies were geniouses! There wasn't a single thing that didn't move in there, not even the smallest part of the background stayed in their place for too lo
ng. It was magical!
By that time, I had decided I would become a Blue Meanie when I grew up.... I would be the very first Pink Meanie ever! * ^ *

Perhaps, this movie is one of my biggest sources for inspiration: the art is gorgeous and really interesting. The movie's got a heart by itself. It was a big part of my childhood. And so, when I watched it again, a long time after, I couldn't stop the subsequent inspiration rush and started working right away!
And so, here is one sketch of a painting I will start working on soon, based on that lovely Sea of Holes:

Took a few hours to finish. I, as you can see, was inspired by the particular scene of the Sea of Holes. I was wondering well, what would happen if one fell into various holes at the same time? And so, I came across this. I really like how it looks. I think I managed to give the girl a somewhat surprised look? I hope ; n ;
Either way, I will definetely keep working on this idea, and will, of course, post the results!

Technique: I drew all of it. Using a normal 2H pencil.

Snow White vs ermm... Pocahontas

Marble vs Oak... Vanilla vs Cinammon ...Or simply "Pale vs Tan"! Which ever title you like the most.

Personally, I find pale skin to be really aesthetically pleasing, and something beautiful to look at. It can sometimes even create a vaguely supernatural aura. You may now imagine your favorite supernatural creature! I just LOVE looking at a beautiful pale skin. I find it to be really classy and elegant; something worth looking at. For a long, long time. Even if the owner of that pale skin has already spotted me staring and is starting to think I might be some kind of psycho.
...Also, always a plus, someone with a really pale skin and dark hair. I love the contrast so, very much! It gives people (well, I think you must, by this point know, I'm mainly talking about this whole look on girls) such a gorgeous doll-look. Ever seen those antique porcelain dolls on your grandma's house? Ever noticed how pale they are? Ok, perhaps, some of you might not want to end up looking like a living porcelain doll (shame on you ; n ;)

Either way, here you have some beautiful examples of pale skin; First of all, Miss Dita Von Teese! (tone down the lights a bit and play some burlesque music, please):

Now, doesn't she look dreadfully GORGEOUS or what? Look at that creamy pale skin against that darker-than-the-Devil's-heart hair! Dita is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen before. I trully admire this woman, for she is smart, and a real business woman. But, I must say, the very first thing that caught my attention about her was her practically paper-white skin!

You want another example, hmm? How about Kirsten Dunst? HMMMMM?

Again, the skin...! look at that porcelain skin! It's the perfect canvas for just erm... ANYTHING! Make up stands out more! So as her features! Clothes, etc.
I heard people said she looked ill when she showed up looking tremendously pale for one of the Spiderman movies premiere's... funny thing is, I said to myself " * ^ * Woah! This is the most beautiful I've ever seen her look before! " Oh, the irony!

Since, I'd dare to say, most of you might, by this point, be thinking I'm a creep with a weird fixation for pale skin (No! ... Really?) Let's now talk about the other side of the coin, which is, in this case, Tan skin!

We all have different tastes, and so, there are people who prefer tan skin. Now, I have nothing against tan people/people-who-tan/etc, but I just don't see what's all the excitement about. I don't find tan to be as classy as pale. I mean, yes, tan is, most of the times perceived as sexy, yes, but, from what I've seen, people tend to take it TOO far and for some unknown reason, go practically orange...or even worse, when their skin go all leathery thanks to the excess of tanning products, and they start looking like a new kind of reptile... an orange reptile D:
Now, I love the way sun-kissed looks. Like, when the tanning looks somewhat soft and glowy... all of that with a golden -brownish hair looks just lovely and even a bit romantic. Like if you had been running in the prairies al day long ; w ;

And so, here are the mandatory tan examples; starting with that
model from Victoria's Secret, Alessandra Ambrossio (I'm not a fan, so forgive any mistakes I may have made with her name):

Hmm, what can I say? Nice features, gorgeous cat-eyes, great make up, BUT, in this case, I don't think that fake tan goes well with the classy wardrobe and jewelry. Now, picture this same image with a pale model... looks classy now, eh? Ok, I think I was supposed to present 'beautiful' tan images on here, yes? so, moving on!

Yes! That's what I'm talking about, Miranda Kerr! You got it absolutely right!

Gorgeous girl, beautiful feminine features (still, I think she would look better off PALE hahahaha) and a lovely sun-kissed tan! FINALLY! This picture is great; Miss Kerr is tan, looking all sexy and innocent at the same time. Good job! The prophecy has been fulfilled!

And now, for a curious fact; as I was looking for examples of 'tan skin' and typed those exact words onto Google, it shocked me how many pictures of fake-orange-looking people appeared. There were NONE beautiful examples in there, and so, I had to type names of people (most precisely VS's models) to get ahold of nice tan examples, instead of ugly reptile looking ones. I started to wonder, Are people taking their tanning beds too far? or maybe it's just the trend.

Either way, I hope you enjoyed this post; I would like to hear your opinions on this very important matter!
Have a nice day! Stay pale! Or tan!

Trully Heaven on Earth

This time, Elie Saab's Spring 2010 Couture Collection was the one to take my breath away. I know, this collection was first showed earlier this year, but I happened to come across it just a little while ago, and so...! Here we go! Prepare your eyes for a total Delicacy Party!

For this collection, Herr Saab decided to go for the pale, romantic flower-girl look; (something I highly appreciated) and gave us gorgeous flowy gowns made of fabric that seem to be formed out of the most beautiful, pure spring flowers ; w ;
Now, what I liked the most is the fact that he didn't choose the easy way out and give us, simply, the usual pastels, such as the softest pink, light-blue and green. No! Herr Saab went a dobby step further and chose to go for some rich mauves, celadons and pleasing shades of beige so light the overall look is really natural and delicate. I love how he also went for a trully soft make up pallete, leaving the look even more feminine and eye pleasing.

Ok, sure, some people may say these are all a bit tacky and prom-like (a filthy rich kid's prom, please) and whatnot, but please! I'm sure we all agree there's nothing wrong with some flowy soft romantic gowns every once in a while, yes? Please? I think you should all know how much I praise these kinds of girlie flower looks no matter what ; n ; so...

Also, extra points for the beautiful cristal-looking scenario chosen for this particular collection. It made the dresses trully glow with magic... and the runway looked like a pure river from a dreamy fairy tale!

Oh! Also, another plus! Did any of you get the same "Alphonse Mucha vibe" from this collection? No? Sweet pastel gowns against a soft pale skin and shiny, curly hair? Gracefully flowing dresses exuding a delicious spring-summer scent? Godess-looking girls? Anyone?! (I'm being dead serious right now, so, please, agree with me on this one * ^ *)
Well, at least I still think any of these gowns would make a BEAUTIFUL editorial picture, and an even more GORGEOUS painting anytime!

Agree? Good! I can leave in peace now, for my work here is done!
Take care, everybody! Have a lovely day!
Peet, all!

The rabbit in the moon

There's an ancient Mayan legend about the rabbit shape we can see in the moon by night. The moon's craters shadows form, according to the pre-colombines, a rabbit moving, jumping. The legend says:

"Quetzalcóatl, The kind God, went travelling around the world, in the shape of a man. He had been walking all day long, and, by the afternoon, he felt tired and hungry. But he kept on walking, until the stars started shining and the moon came out in the midnight sky. He then sat in the side of the road, and as he laid in there, resting, he saw a little rabbit, who was having some dinner.

-What are you doing? -Quetzalcóatl asked.
-I'm having some grass. Do you want some? -The rabbit replied.

-Thank you very much, but I don't eat grass.
-What are you going to do, then?
-I will starve to death.

The little rabbit came up to Quetzalcóatl and said:
-Look, I may not be nothing but a little rabbit, but, if you're that hungry, eat me, here I am.

The God then caressed the rabbit and said:

-You may not be nothing but a little rabbit, but, forever will the whole world remember you.
He then picked the rabbit up high, so high, up to the moon, where its shape was left printed in there. Quetzalcóatl put the rabbit down, to Earth and said:
-There is your portrait made out of light, for all men, forever. "

I made this drawing for a Graphics class project. We were supposed to make a theme drawing, and so, I chose the Rabbit in the Moon mayan legend.
This took a few hours to finish.

Technique: I drew all of it. Using Paper Mate pen in black. Everything is hand-colored; using Prismacolor Professional colors. The paper was brown painted with vanilla scent, so it looked old. It smells delicious, too!
Oh, yes, character concept came from an ancient japanese drawing.

Pink overdose 2011

Soooooo... Really cute, feminine outfits, simple, clean shapes, fresh looks, tons of pink lipstick and big hair... Yes! I'm talking about Dior's last show this past Saturday in Shanghai!

This was a really cute ready-to-wear collection, keeping the clothes simple and fresh. There were several little details on each outfit, such as cute little bows, flowers, and lace. Most of the outfits had a really sweet scent to them, like if they were meant to be used at a delicious tea party in a forest.
The mini dresses were really appealling, most of them embellished with frills and laces, something I absolutely adore and always look for in a dress. The color pallette was kept soft and delicate, going from the cutest, most pastel pink, to the softest, cloudy-like light blue... absolutely stunning! Most of the dresses made me think of cotton candy and sladky tea parties.

BUT! For some reason, some of the outfits kept giving me this 'Barbie's Closet' vibe over and over again. Perhaps, it was the neon colors Herr John Galliano decided to use, combining them with the whitest white bottoms and accessories... perhaps, it was the Malibu Beach Babe feeling some of the outfits had... perhaps, it was the big retro Barbie hair... perhaps it was the mix of all those elements together! Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps! I mean, yes, there certainly was a french flavor to the collection, but I just couldn't get over the obvious Barbie look. ...and those enormous neon bags...!

I'm a Barbie girl in a Barbie Wooooorld!

Still, it was a dobby collection, all thanks to Mr. John Galliano. Although, I would've liked seen more daring outfits, Thank you, sir, and until next time! Peet all!

Woop! Woop!

I am currently feeling strangely, tremendously uberly filled with joy today!
Strange bezoomny thing, considering my previous emotional breakdown and following depressive stage lasting the past 4 days or so... without a shoulder to boohoohoo on... ; n ;

But now...! There's this warm, fuzzy feeling in my heart! Life is once again, beautiful! Filled with softly colored sugar rays, beautiful sparkly eyes and dobby candy-cotton clouds! ...and rum! ...The Rum! Well, more like imaginary musical rum flowing through my veins with glee! But still! I feel like walking on a rainbow or something! Tee-hee!

I seriously can't stop giggling and dancing like a drunken sailor! I'm even dancing to sailor-esque songs right now; making funny faces, jumping and making a lot of noise with my boots as I kick them together!

I LOVE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU, I LOVE CANDY, I LOVE SUSHI, I LOVE TO SING DEATH DEATH, DEVIL DEVIL, EVIL EVIL SONGS!!!!

I hope you all get to have a sweet day today filled with giggles and hugs c:
Until next post, take care!

Do you want to know who is terribly beautiful?

Even if your answer was "No, I do not wish to know that as of right now" I will still give you the answer to that really important question: First name: Beautiful. Second name: Tilda. Yes, I'm talking about Beautiful Tilda Swinton! Yes, 'Beautiful' is , in fact, her first name.

Now, this is where all of you should nod your heads 'yes' in agreement!

Good! Now that we're all in the same page, here are some facts:
Miss Swinton was born in London, November the 5th, 1960; meaning she's 49 years old. Could any of you believe that? That's almost half a century! I bet most of us would practically kill to look like that when we turn that age! Or, at least I know I would. Perhaps, I will change my name to Báthory Erzsébet then, but that's a different story.

So, enough nonsense, and back with Beautiful Tilda!
Apart from her beautiful face, she's a well respected actress: has won several important awards, such as an Oscar, for her role in Michael Clayton, a BAFTA, for the already mentioned movie and a Copa Volpi a la Mejor Actriz, for Eduard II. Quite a talented artist, she is. I highly enjoy the choices she has made all over her actress life. I also admire the way she successfully has moved between the deep-field-art-performances towards quality Hollywood blockbusters. She tends to choose strong, interesting characters; most of the times with an androgynous look and behaviour to them.

And, talking about androgyny...! Wasn't that the very first word that came to your mind the second you saw Beautiful Tilda's picture? In my head, that was the case. Tilda is simply visually striking. Yes, she doesn't have the 'typical' kind of beauty, but, sometimes, it is better to have an interesting, unique look, rather than just a standard kind of beauty, hmhmm?

First of all, look at her cheekbones! They are really high and well-defined. Her green piercing eyes are to die for... and that jawline...! so feminine and delicate! all in all, and in words of the Ugliest Step Sister, herself, Tilda's face would be best described with the following, accurate quote: "Her face looks as if it was carved by the very angels".

Look at that face! Look at those cheekbones!
Such a delicate, romantic looking face that will forever make my soul rotten in bitter jealousy ; n ;

Since I'm quite sure most of you will have to agree with me up to this point, I will now leave you with a small Gallery with pictures from Tilda's photoshoot for AnOther Magazine SS09 6.
Photographer: Craig McDean
Enjoy!

When will she stop looking like a perfect sculpture?

He is here to heal you

Do you know Doctor Plague?

Doctor Plague, you say? Ooh! Black Death! Yes, yes, I know Doctor Plague.

Hmhm? Well, I have always been interested in history. And, one of the most interesting characters from European history is, at least to me, the Doctor Plague. Aside from the obvious visual attractive and misterious background, I had always been fond of Doctor Plague because of the many stories I read as a kid on the Black Death subject.

Then, from that point on, as I first saw the Doctor Plague's mask, I immediately fell in love with them.

From Wikipedia:

The Black Death was one of the deadliest pandemics in human history, peaking in Europe between 1348 and 1350. It spread throughout the Mediterranean and Europe.From there, probably carried by fleas residing on the black rats from merchant ships.

The Black Death is estimated to have killed 30% to 60% of Europe's population, reducing the world's population from an estimated 450 million to between 350 and 375 million in 1400. It took 150 years for Europe's population to recover. The plague returned at various times, resulting in a larger number of deaths, until it left Europe in the 19th century.

During the period of the Black Death and the Great Plague of London, plague doctors visited victims of the plague to verify whether they have been afflicted or not. They were mostly unqualified. Most qualified doctors had left the city to avoid being afflicted. Their outfit consisted of a hat to show that the man was a doctor, mask to protect the face, crystal "eyes" to "protect" the eyes, the beak stuffed with spices or herbs to "purify" the air that the doctor breathed (this was back when they thought the Plague was transmitted by contaminated air), wooden stick to push away victims who would get too close to him, leather gloves to protect the hands, gown waxed from the exterior, and full length boots.

It was believed at the time that the plague was spread through the air, not through the fleas living on the black rat. Therefore, they stuffed herbs and spices in their "beaks" or carried them somewhere. The waxed clothing may have helped prevent fleas latching on, and the clothing also prevented droplet infection. It has been questioned how much this costume was actually worn; the greater part of doctors fled the cities in the early stages of the plague.

In the Garden of Orphin

Welcome to my territories, young adventurers!

These are my sacred domains, in which I reign supreme and away from the outside world. The caterpillars are my loyal vassals. The butterflies are my graceful dancers waiting to entertain me as they fly through the air. Black spiders are my brave chassoes, always keeping my dobby white flowers safe from the unworthy glazzies.

Back there lives a white tiger, as well. He keeps my garden a secret. He tells me stories about the world. He makes me company whenever nobody even notices me. He is my droog. He is my best friend.

Would anybody believe the fun I have in there? Perhaps I don't play games, nor jump like a child whenever I go there, (that would not be the correct Royal etiquette) but, just the mere fact of breathing some secret fresh air, or looking at the unwanted flowers growing in there makes me feel alive. And happy. And in peace.

The wind itself comes and sings me warbles. Bees come buzzing the latest news from a distant prairie. They seem to enjoy playing with my hair.
We have picnics sometimes, based merely in the delicious, sladky smell of hot spring air. Big crows come and wait for me to read them some books. We've read Faust two times already.

I may do as I want. I am free to dream. I am free to breathe. I am finally free.

I love looking at the sky. That is my favorite thing to do.

Whoever said spiders were not dobby photographers?

Everybody, Hail Queen

Have I ever known of a more innovative band before? I don't think so, nor have many of you, either, I would dare to say.
I remember back in my elementary school days, when my father would play Queen's records in his old cassette player on the way to school. I didn't understand a word they were saying (english not being my mother language), but that didn't matter much, either way, for Queen's music was universal, and all of their songs transmitted certain feelings, ideas, and images, even!

The very band itself was amazing. Each of their members were trully talented and charismatic. Each of them had their well defined personality, and apported something special to the band's unique sound. I love how each of them had their part in the overall sound and music of the band. Every single one of them was equally important to the band. They were all special chellovecks working in their music together. There were no egos involved whatsoever.

They were true pioneers! Hard rock & Metal pioneers! Never afraid to incorporate different kinds of sounds to their music. How about some glam rock mixed with a pinch of progressive rock and sprinkled with a bit of blues? Have you ever heard of anything better than that? If you ever see any of
today's bands doing anything; Queen, ladies and gentleman, has already done it before. Ten times bigger and better. Because they are that great.

Brian May's way with the guitar was awesome! It was as if he and his Red Special would turn into one individual just to perform some of the greatest riffs ever heard.

Gaga Oh la la? She wouldn't even have her artistic name if it wasn't for a certain drummer named Roger Taylor, children. Just keep that in mind. Wink wink.

A certain John Deacon (who, by the way was an engineer genious, as well as a versatile bass player. He was said to be an Electronics magician, since he built and adapted several of Queen's electronics equipment. It was his "Deacy Amp" the final touch at Bohemian Rhapsody.

Now, that is what I call some serious talent all in one band!

And now, for the Grand finale...! (*Drums rolls go in here*) we all know Queen's heart and soul was a man. Lead singer, Freddie Mercury (Everybody, hail!).
Freddie was such a passionate man, it seemed. He was a real artist, and definetely, one of the best singers EVER known by mankind. Have you ever watched any of their videos? Seen their live presentations? The man was a true genious! Pure charisma and dynamic awesomeness. Scientists all over the world believe he was made of pure epic musical power. And that is a fact.
Seriously, He is one of the most talented artists I have ever heard of. Just listen to his lyrics. It was poetry made rock. Bohemian Rhapsody. ENOUGH SAID. That song is EPIC. And you must know I hardly ever use that word, for it makes me sound like a pompous little brat; but its use is necessary in this case. Ah, the structure of that song is marvelous. A song talking about sin and redemption? Angels and demons? Crime and punishment? Yes, please! A thousand times, YESSSSSSS!
Seven Seas of Rhye, anyone? No wonder why he is considered the "Ultimate God of Rock". Well earned title, if you ask me. His life performances were god-like. He was able to easily keep the audience astonished over his voice and music and overall awesomeness, as well!

Oh, well, I could go on and on and on AND on forever and would ultimately just praise Queen over and over again.
Obvious post is obvious (and long), hmm?
Okay, then, this is good-bye! I've sadly got homework to do now.
And so, I shall continue listening to my beloved Bohemian Rhapsody now. Peet, all!

They float.

They all float... and when you're down here with me, you will float, too.

It is time for a quickie!

Ok, so here it quickly goes:
I am:

-Going back to college tomorrow.
-Frustrated because of the above statement.
-Trying to finish some projects within my deadlines.
-Trying not to chop my own head off (think of the mess that would imply, and the time it would take to clean up. And I have certainly got no time for that right now!)
-Trying to sort a way out on how to use lace in a painting.
-Thinking about a way to make more money. Possibly starting my own business.
-Wishing for some rain.
-Annoyingly trying to get some practice on Dev C++

And so, and keeping up with the whole 'quickie' theme, here, plase take a look at another quickie (drawing, that is) I made for a friend a while ago:

Took about 2 days to finish, because I am that lazy and couldn't stay focused on it for more than 15 minutes each time.

Technique: I drew all of it. Using uni-ball micro deluxe pen in black. Everything is hand-colored ; using Prismacolor Professional colors. Then added the sparkles in her eyes with SumoPaint.

WOAH, Look at that! I am insanely beautiful!

What can be wrong whenever one's eyelashes are whitest than snow, your eyes are bigger than a baby deer's eyes, your cheeks are pink as a baby cupcake and your perfectly pink lips are the frame for your slightly crooked pearly teeth?
Yes, everything would be perfect in your life if you ever got to look like a snow Russian princess wearing her coin crumpled mystical headwrap! Nope, anything would be wrong then, for everybody would work their hardest to make your wishes come true, and your very words would become their command.

But not today. You still have to study and get over with college, young girl. Start making your own money and pay the bills, you lazy, lazy young uncertainty!
So, there you go. Start focusing now, and stop wasting your time with these worthless posts already.

Geez, kids these days!
