Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Arts Club Band

...Art is all you need.

Technique: 48x35 canvas. I drew all of it. Using Paper Mate's Medium Marker (0.5mm) in black. Everything is hand-colored; using Prismacolor Professional colors. Also, I added the photoshop background today, so the cube would stand out a bit more c:

Groovy dooby-dooh...!
I bet that by this point, you might all be aware of the fact that I'm such a big fan of The Beatles, hmm? Well, it shouldn't be that hard to guess, really. I find their music to be both magical and romantic, full of wisdom even; and there are always beautiful stories within each song. The Beatles always manage to inspire me, no matter what. Their beautiful music is like a dream come true. So many beautiful images come to my head as I listen to their songs.

And so, I definetely had to make a Beatles Tribute Illustration. This started as an assignement from GD class at college, we were supposed to form a 3D cube with our initials, ink it and we would be done. I chose to add some happy, colorful textures to mine, and I ended up with this 60's LSD stravaganzza (as most of my classmates called it). I started getting really inspired while drawing this, and, surprise, surprise, listening to The Beatles, as well!
I'm very happy with the final result. Ó u Ò

寿司カワイイ ☆~

\()/ Did I ever tell you I'm such a -proud- sushi freak?
Sushi is all I can think of, sushi is all I breathe, sushi is my true love, SUSHI IS MY LIFEEEEE!!
*Insert creepy, drooling pervy face in here*

Haha, ok, no. Maybe not quite like that. I don't want to sound as if I'm part of a secret sushi cult that makes blood sacrifices as a part of their rituals or something like that (not saying I wouldn't, my beloved deliciousness, Sushi, Sir! Ò n Ó). BUT! I still really, really love sushi; it's one of my very favorite meals always and no matter what.
I have yet to decline an offer made by anybody to go and have some sushi. Because I am THAT strong-willed, hmm? ; n ;
I mean, it doesn't matter if it's raining like crazy outside and I might have to cross over a wild river to get to Sukiyaki; it doesn't matter if the weather is hot as Beelzebub's kingdom and butterflies catch on fire as they fly. Nope, nothing can get in the way between sushi and me .

I still remember the very first time I tried sushi. . . . I HATED IT!!! (´Д`;) It tasted so mushy and fishy and weird! Haha, I guess it was too exotic and extravagant for my inexperienced taste! I remember swearing I would never eat sushi... EVER AGAIN as long as I lived... Oh, the irony! Now that I think of it, I'm really glad my cousin made me try it "one last time" since that "one last time" turned out being the very first day of a wonderful, delicious relationship between sushi and me c:
*PERVY FACE PERVY FACE PERVY FACE*

Ok, some of you may be wondering, "But what, exactly is sushi?"
Sushi: is a japanese dish made of cooked vinegarded rice, most commonly topped with fish or some other seafood. There are different types of sushi; such as sashimi (fresh raw seafood sliced into really thin pieces and served with a dipping sauce); makizushi (this one is the most common; it consists of rice and seafood rolled inside dried sheets of nori. In other words: Pure deliciousness of love!); Inarizushi (a pouch of fried tofu filled with rice), etc. As you can see, there are many different kinds of sushi for many different tastes out there. Sushi has many different flavors, textures, colors... many different things to make eating such a delightful experience!

So, next time you want to try something exotic and new, give delicious sushi a try, you've got nothing to loose (unless you're allergic to seafood :c)! You won't be dissapointed! Ó u Ò Always try new things and enjoy to the fullest.
And... who knows! Maybe you and I could start up a Delicious Sushi Cult afterwards (but that will have to remain Top Secret, hmm?)
\( x )/

Seriously now, could anybody resist all of this cuteness? ; u ;
At least I know I could never...!

Now, I could not be able to eat these cuteys right here...!
...that's the problem with utterly cute food ; A ;

Oweeweeee!

TEAM COCO Ó u Ò

... I'm sorry, the stupid inside me took over for a sec. College has been hectic...! All of my classes are in the afternoon, and I might be getting a full-time morning job next week; I know I should be happy, but still... :c

...On a happier note! I remembered I never actually published the winners to my first GA, hmm?
So the winners (randomly chosen, of course, since if having the time, I would gladly draw each and everyone of you, dear followers, as a way to show my grattitude ; u ; But since that life drainer (a.k.a College) wouldn't allow me to, I had to narrow the number down to 3 lucky winners) are:

*** Miss Caroline from Ergy Erg ***
*** Miss Jemina from JeminaJakin ***
*** Miss Joeanne from Joe's Blog ***

Congratulations to the winners! I'm already working on your portraits and will send them to you as soon as possible!

E - Files: Statt up og dansa!

Have you ever heard of a site called Gaiaonline before?

It basically is an online hangout with games and message boards where you create a your own character and dress it up the way you want and whatever. I have an account in that place, and this is what it looked like a few months ago. At college, we were asked by our GD teacher to draw anything we wanted, as our very first exercise for that class and whatnot, and so, I decided to draw my dobby ol' Gaia avatar... isn't she a cutie? Ò u Ó
It took me ages to get some of those items, since they were somewhat expensive, but, once I finally got them, I was able to achieve the look I was going for: a kind of cheerful venice dancer... think of Cirque du Soleil, yes? I really like how my baby looks!

I don't go much there anymore, I don't find that site as amusing as I did back then, nor do I have much time to post there anymore, but it was nice while it lasted and I was certainly happy to draw my Gaia avatar for once c:

This one took about 4 days to finish, because I had an enormous amount of homework/college projects to do by that time. Those were some oozhassny days, but I think the hard work paid off.

Technique: 48x35 canvas. I drew all of it. Using Paper Mate's Medium Marker (0.5mm) and uni-ball micro deluxe pen in black for small details. Everything is hand-colored; using Prismacolor Professional colors. Also, I just added the photoshop background today; this was my very first shot at creating a CG background c:
Oh, yes, character concept is property of Gaiaonline.com

Nobody ever thought the day would come when dobby bloggy would reach its 50+ followers! ...but that sacred day came! Actually, a lot earlier than anybody would ever thought, or predicted!
This means A LOT more than a gigantic strawberry cheesecake (and, Boy, do I love those! more than most things in this vast world, now that I think of it; BUT, certainly not more than my beloved followers from bloggy! ...See just how much you mean to me? )

I do have some drawing skills, and so, I was thinking about giving you, Yes, YOU! Lucky 3 Followers an illustration (made specially by yours trully, of course) to show you guys my grattitude.
I know, this isn't much, but, I will definetely draw these with all my heart (= A=

And now! Let's set some rules, shall we?
RULE #1
You HAVE TO (as, you may have already guessed) be a follower of this blog.

RULE #3

And that's it! Pretty simple, isn't it?
So, after the 10th, I will go to Random.org aaaaand... Yes! That's right! generate 3 random numbers from 1 to the last number of comments this entry gets; resulting in the 3 winners of my very first GA... pretty exciting, isn't it? O u O

Oh, yes! What will the so called Illustration consist of?
Well, I will be doing a cartoon portrait of your display picture; most likely a Yellow Submarine style cartoon, which I will send back to you via pm or by posting it in a new entry, it's your call!

OKAY? So, just post for your chance to win such a Marvelous Prize!
Good Luck!
THANK YOU, AGAIN
Peet, all!

Forest romancing

In front of Saint Peter's grave.
Go back, go back once more and hide. Crawl back down.
Dig a hole so deep you can fit inside. Og skjul.
Be out in the grass, become a dark mess.
Shall I live in there? Cover it with flowers and leaves. Nobody will see.
Will everybody forget?
If mother ever forgot about me...
...I just hope she won't pour boiling water down the hole.
Dig down once more.
Flowers and water and leaves for your dorogoy home.
Water-love is out in the grass.
A medieval burial.

; u ;

Can you tell I am utterly happy and, in love with life, once and for all?
That is the atmosphere lived in my beloved backyard. Butterflies come and dance with me.
And fishes come for a jog by the trees.
Everything is Perfect.

Woop! Woop!

I am currently feeling strangely, tremendously uberly filled with joy today!
Strange bezoomny thing, considering my previous emotional breakdown and following depressive stage lasting the past 4 days or so... without a shoulder to boohoohoo on... ; n ;

But now...! There's this warm, fuzzy feeling in my heart! Life is once again, beautiful! Filled with softly colored sugar rays, beautiful sparkly eyes and dobby candy-cotton clouds! ...and rum! ...The Rum! Well, more like imaginary musical rum flowing through my veins with glee! But still! I feel like walking on a rainbow or something! Tee-hee!

I seriously can't stop giggling and dancing like a drunken sailor! I'm even dancing to sailor-esque songs right now; making funny faces, jumping and making a lot of noise with my boots as I kick them together!

I LOVE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU, I LOVE CANDY, I LOVE SUSHI, I LOVE TO SING DEATH DEATH, DEVIL DEVIL, EVIL EVIL SONGS!!!!

I hope you all get to have a sweet day today filled with giggles and hugs c:
Until next post, take care!

In the Garden of Orphin

Welcome to my territories, young adventurers!

These are my sacred domains, in which I reign supreme and away from the outside world. The caterpillars are my loyal vassals. The butterflies are my graceful dancers waiting to entertain me as they fly through the air. Black spiders are my brave chassoes, always keeping my dobby white flowers safe from the unworthy glazzies.

Back there lives a white tiger, as well. He keeps my garden a secret. He tells me stories about the world. He makes me company whenever nobody even notices me. He is my droog. He is my best friend.

Would anybody believe the fun I have in there? Perhaps I don't play games, nor jump like a child whenever I go there, (that would not be the correct Royal etiquette) but, just the mere fact of breathing some secret fresh air, or looking at the unwanted flowers growing in there makes me feel alive. And happy. And in peace.

The wind itself comes and sings me warbles. Bees come buzzing the latest news from a distant prairie. They seem to enjoy playing with my hair.
We have picnics sometimes, based merely in the delicious, sladky smell of hot spring air. Big crows come and wait for me to read them some books. We've read Faust two times already.

I may do as I want. I am free to dream. I am free to breathe. I am finally free.

I love looking at the sky. That is my favorite thing to do.

Whoever said spiders were not dobby photographers?
